Someone is going to get a bargain investment due to a change in my personal circumstances: I am selling on a €30,000 deposit on a brand new 1 Bed Apt for just €20,000 or nearest offer. The total remaining purchase price is €123,000.

The apartment has (January 2009) been valued very conservatively at €155,000 by a bank and this was in the middle of the credit crunch! The most recent valuation by an agent I have seen is 179k. Realistically, the correct price lies between the 155k and 179k mark.

It is in Cabanas de Tavira, metres from the beach. This is one of the up and coming holidaying areas in the Algarve. A real investment for the medium term (although with the price reduction above it is also a good shorter term investment).

I am selling due to changed circumstances, but someone is going to get an easy bargain here. The Algarve was rated Place In the Sun s Number One Investment in 2007.
