Italian Riviera Apartment
Just 1 hour from Nice or Genova and 1.5hours from Skiing overlooking the sea with maintained pool. Two bed two bath apartment, good for lock and leave but feels like a house with privacy, garden and large terrace. Fully fitted and willing to leave everything if desired to make move in easy. New large marina in village with good access by train, roads and sea.
Our place took us a long time to find but now after 5 years we have to leave. It has very easy access being half way between Nice and Genova in San Lorenzo al Mare which is less than 1 hour from either airport.
The condominium consists of 16 apartments in 4 separate houses with personal and communal gardens and double pool (adults & children’s) which overlooks the village and Mediterranean .It was built in an old olive grove and many trees remain.
We are 5 minutes from the coast road and 8 minutes from the autostrada. The village has a free beach, an old harbour and a new marina as well as banks and restaurants. Within walking distance we have an OK market where one can get almost anything.
We have two secure parking places next to the apartment within the complex and a large terrace overlooking the Med and have glazed area which we use in all weather conditions. Heating or air con does not seem be required very often but if needed we have gas fires, a wood burning fire and air con for the bedroom.
The garden has 3 olive trees, a lemon tree and the plants are mostly cacti but we do have a watering system for the bougainvillea.
Imperia is close to the East and is a real Italian town whilst to the West is San Remo which is more International. We take the train, 40mins, to Monaco for the Grand Prix etc and avoid the parking problem.
The apartment is around 100m2 on two levels with the entrance, garden and terrace downstairs with lounge, kitchen, bathroom and glazed in area. The upper floor has the two bedrooms, one with a terrace and a bathroom.
We leave a car here and find the airport bus to Nice very convenient. It took us some time to sort the place out as new apartments in Italy often come without basic such as kitchens.
Since we are going to the US we would be happy to leave as much as new owners need such as furniture, fitting, bedding etc. or even our 4x4 if desired.
