Situated on the North Coast of the Dominican Republic, just outside the small town of Cabrera, is "Los Farallones" (The cliffs). The community consists of more than 20 fine homes and is governed and maintained by the home owners association. Security is provided 24 hrs/day.
The Villa itself contains 3 air-conditioned bedrooms and 2 bathrooms (one of which is en-suite to the master bedroom). The great room opens up completely to the patio and private pool area making for an indoor / outdoor living experience that allows you to take in the marvelous climate and ocean views. Multiple seating and lounging areas add to the comfort and create a perfect area for dining, entertaining, cocktails or just reading quietly. The grounds are meticulously maintained and contain a variety of palms and tropical plants and flowers which are bursting with color virtually year-round.
The villa is also complete with fine furnishings, electronics, linens and everything else you will need to move in and begin enjoying your new vacation home or permanent residence. It would also be great as an investment / rental property as it is perfect for 2 or 3 vacationing couples or a large family.
On the grounds you will also find a garage with car-port and wash-house attached. Another sound-proofed building houses your 20kvw Emergency generator. The generator supplies enough power to run all 3 air-conditioners, pool-pump, and all household electronics, as well as charging your bank of 16 new 12V batteries and invertor package at the same time. The hot water for the villa and the wash house is supplied by "on-demand" propane water heaters. The villa is completely self-sufficient so you need never worry about loss of power even during storms or planned power outages
Just minutes from Los Farallones, rest two of the Dominican Republic's, (and quite possibly the world's), most spectacular beaches. Naturally landscaped with towering palms, it is the perfect place for enjoying long, lazy days in the sunshine and bathing in the warm, beautifully blue ocean waters. Eat fresh local fish and seafood right on the beach and enjoy the friendly service from the local caterers. Drink mixed tropical cocktails right out of fresh coconuts and pineapples or enjoy the notoriously ice-cold cerveza. For the more adventurous, try your hand at surfing. The local surfers are always available to offer lessons or just some friendly advice.
Bordering Playa Grande the beach, you will find Playa Grande the Golf Course. This course was designed by Trent Jones Senior and stands as his crowning jewel in the Caribbean. It is quite simply one of the world’s most stunning golf courses. 11 of its 18 holes are built right alongside the ocean cliffs which has led to it being referred to by golfers around the world as the "Pebble Beach of the Caribbean". Driving range, chipping green, practice greens, club rental, golf lessons, carts and caddies, as well as club-house and restaurant are all available.
Other activities close-by include hiking, waterfalls, horseback riding, whale watching (seasonal), wind and kite-surfing at close-by Cabarete, scuba diving, fishing, eco tours and more.
